So the day has finally arrived, and it is magical! If you are preserving your bouquet it's best to avoid tossing it so that it doesn't get battered and bruised, these marks can be seen once resin is applied. Instead use a different bouquet of flowers that you don't mind throwing around!
It is best to book your bouquet collection closest to your event as possible(Collections happen Monday - Friday). If you are heading straight to your honeymoon, get someone you trust to prepare your bouquet for shipping.
To avoid damage during shipping you will need:
1 x Box large enough to have your bouquet standing up
1 x Smaller box to keep your bouquet upright
Newspaper / Bubble wrap to secure you bouquet in the box
Damp Paper Towel to wrap around stems and keep them hydrated
Plastic bag to cover damp paper towel
And you are ready to go! Your bouquet is now all set for collection.
Once your bouquet is received it is sorted and prepared for drying. All flowers have to be completely dried or they will turn brown in the resin and our goal is to keep them as good as new for a life time! Depending on the items you have selected your flowers will either be dried whole or pressed to fit into flat items like coasters and trays.
The drying process takes 2 weeks for best results
Once your flowers are completely dried the resin pour begins. Resin is poured in small portions at a time over the next few weeks to avoid as many bubbles as possible and give you that crystal clear look! You will be notified as soon as your bouquet is ready for delivery!
